Look Good Feel Better
I am so pleased to have been invited along to my first session with Look Good Feel Better in a couple of weeks time. It's really such a great charity to be involved with and am glad that I can really help make a difference...
Look Good Feel Better was set up by the Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association in 1993 and today, the programme has the support of over 40 leading companies and brands in the Beauty Industry.
Look Good Feel Better helps women cancer patients in the most practical and positive way by holding free skincare and makeup workshops to help combat the visible side effects of cancer treatment and in turn, boost confidence and wellbeing.

Skin Care Guide
I’m frequently asked about skin care routine so, I’ve decided to put a little skin care guide together! Hopefully you find this useful and please contact me if you have any questions or need product advice.
STEP 6: SUNSCREEN
STEP 1: CLEANSE
Using your fingers, rub the cleanser of your choice all over your face making sure you also reach those blemish prone areas around your nose and chin. Rinse with warm water and if you want a light exfoliation, try using a muslin cloth when removing the product.

STEP 2: TONER
Toner is so important as it finishes removing anything you missed during cleansing. Place a small amount of the product on a cotton wool pad and sweep over the face.

STEP 3: SERUM
Serums are still fairly new so many people still don’t incorporate this into their skin care routine yet. There are many different serums on the market, from anti-aging to acne prone skin but all come loaded with vitamins and nutrients and this product has the ability to really penetrate all layers of the skin. Use a small amount and massage into the face well.

STEP 4: EYE CREAM
Eye cream is always a recommended product but a necessary one?...probably not.
Eye cream is always a recommended product but a necessary one?...probably not.
If like me, you can get away with using a light
moisturiser, than you can probably give eye cream a miss. If you use a rich
moisturiser for anti-aging or very dry skin, these shouldn’t be applied to the
sensitive eye area anyway as it can cause puffiness and damage to the sensitive
skin area.
Take a tiny bit of product onto your finger and
pat it lightly beneath the eye.
STEP 5: MOISTURISER
Light, rich, firming, anti-aging...whatever your choice of moisturiser, use a generous amount.
Light, rich, firming, anti-aging...whatever your choice of moisturiser, use a generous amount.
Most makeup products come with SPF in which
technically means you can skip this step. However, if you really want to look
after your skin, use a sunscreen for your face beneath your makeup.
STEP 7: PRIMER (prior
to makeup application only)
I can’t recommend a primer enough...really
really really. It helps form a protective layer between your skin and makeup
and most importantly helps your makeup stay on all day. Once your moisturiser
has thoroughly absorbed, using your fingers, work in a small amount of primer
across your face, primarily around the T-Zone.
